IDEA: I wanted to turn one of Life of Riza’s vlogs into a short to promote her new channel series.

Software Used: DaVinci Resolve

My Contribution: I did not film or edit any of the original footage. I watched the video and realized the core message was setting goals she can stick to. Her journal acted as a physical symbol of that.

I edited the key moments, dialogue, and cuts that set up her journal as the main point of this video. Since I do not own the original work, I did not post it anywhere but instead used it to apply for a job as her editor.

IDEA: For Stan’s Dare to Dream contest, I wanted to focus on the theme of loneliness and how I’m tackling that by creating stories.

Software Used: DaVinci Resolve

My Contribution: I conceptualized the idea and created the shot list and script. I directed my cinematographer for all outside shots. I filmed and lit all inside shots. I edited and color graded the entire video

The idea was to have a station in Dolby House, like a larger version of a photo booth, where you can set your background and music and create a moment with your favorite song. Whether it's a dance video, film scene, workout, etc.

My partner did the script and shot footage of his own. I shot footage and did all of the editing.

IDEA: I was applying for a role as a content creator on Duolingo and wanted to create something for the brand. I scoured their YouTube for a video that caught my eye and cut it down into a short.

Software Used: DaVinci Resolve,

My Contribution: I did not shoot any of this footage. I simply found the story of the video, which highlighted how teachers can use Duolingo for their students. I then edited the scenes I felt best supported the message.
